2015 Honduras – Roatan
Next day we stopped at the Island of Roatan in Honduras. There was not much to do there except potter around the shops and go to the beach. That night at dinner we found Victor had deployed a brilliant military manoeuvre. It was a reverse pincer movement where instead of attacking on both sides he and Margaret sat in the middle seats opposite each other. I didn’t know whether to be pissed off for making it difficult for us to chat to our new friends or guilty that we hadn’t included Victor and Margaret enough in the conversation on previous nights,
After dinner there seemed to be some kind of party going on. The funny thing about the cruise was that it was full of things that I would normally avoid like the plague but having accepted the cruise for what it was I found it all great fun. We even joined in some kind of line dancing routine. I hate to admit it but I even enjoyed the conga we were forced to join.
